Coronavirus Effect: Dilip Kumar in complete isolation; says, “Saira Banu has left nothing to chance”

The outbreak of Coronavirus has impacted everyone’s day-to-day life. With no deterrent remedy found against this deadly virus, people are taking necessary precautions to curb the spread of this highly contagious virus. Veteran actor Dilip Kumar shared his health up and informed his fans and followers that he is under complete isolation and self-quarantine.

Sharing how he and his wife Saira Banu is taking preventive measures during this testing time, Dilip took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “I am under complete isolation and quarantine due to the #CoronavirusOutbreak. Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection.”

The veteran actor even urged his fans to protect themselves by staying indoor. “I appeal to all of you to protect yourself and others by staying indoors as much as possible. The #CoronavirusOutbreak transcends all boundaries and borders. Follow guidelines issued by health departments, protect yourself and others by limiting your exposure to others,” he wrote.

A few days back the ‘Naya Daur’ actor was hospitalised owing to severe backaches. He was later discharged. Sharing his health update, his actress-wife Saira Banu posted an audio message stating, “Hello everyone. I am so happy to tell all of you that Dilip Sahab is a lot better. He had very severe backache, and we had to go and check it out at Lilavati and we checked it out and we came back. With god’s grace and all your blessings, everything is fine. And we have your love, we have your affection and we are so grateful to you. So grateful to god. God is kind.”

Meanwhile, the number of Coronavirus cases in India has reached around 114. Three cases of deaths have been reported so far.
