Coronavirus outbreak: Kanika Kapoor’s missing friend finally traced; tests negative for Covid-19

After singer Kanika Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19, several of her friends and family members underwent screening for Coronavirus. And a majority of them thankfully tested negative. Amidst all this, there were reports of one of Kanika’s friend been missing. Well, the said friend Ojas Desai has been finally traced and he tested negative for Covid-19.

A few days after coming in contact with Kanika, her Mumbai-based entrepreneur friend Ojas Desai was untraceable. They had met at a social gathering in Lucknow, upon her return from London.

Authorities were in a lookout for Desai and now as per a Republic report, he was found self-isolating in Mumbai. Kanika’s friend even underwent screening for Corona and the results were negative. So now he has been put under “Strict home quarantine for 14 days”.

Lucknow Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Narendra Agarwal had earlier told IANS that they were unable to trace Desai since they had no clue about his whereabouts. Even the ‘Baby Doll’ singer was tested for Coronavirus and the result was positive again. She is currently being treated in Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS).

Kanika had even made claims that she is not being fed properly nor her room is clean. However, the Hospital rubbished her claims and aksed her behave like a patient and not like a star.
