Court to record Salman Khan’s statement

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be present in court today to record his statement in the ongoing Hit & Run case. It seems that the prosecution has closed it’s arguments with the examination of the last witness concluding. The prosecution in total has examined around 27 witnesses regarding the case against Dabangg Khan. One of the witness had eevn turned hostile too.

Salman Khan’s Hit & Run trail is on it’s last leg now, The court has set March 27th as the day to record the statement of the Dabangg Khan. Salman Khan will undergo the procedure prescribed under Section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code.Under the provision, the accused is given a chance to explain the circumstances and allegations against him and also answer questions about the evidence. Following the procedure the court will also Khan to bring witnesses on record to defend his case.

In 2013, a fresh trial was ordered against Salman Khan under ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder`, due to which the evidence and witnesses are being re-examined in the session court.
