Kanika Kapoor has been grabbing the headlines almost every day after she tested positive for Covid-19. The ‘Baby Doll’ singer was hospitalized on March 20 after she returned from London. Kanika is undergoing treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow and the director of the hospital Dr R K Dhiman sharing updates on Kanika’s health condition said that she is much better now.
According to a report in SpotboyE, Dr Dhiman spoke about Kanika’s recovery and said, “She is much better now.” He added, “She will be discharged soon, it will take about a week more I think. We have a protocol of keeping the patient in such a case for 2 to 3 weeks. We never discharge any patient pre-maturely. The process is to test the coronavirus patient after 14 days and see if he/she is testing negative. If the test is negative, another test is carried out in 24-48 hours and that too should come negative.”

However, the singers family is worried about her. One of her the singer’s family members who did not wish to be named had earlier told IANS, “We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”
Well, we wish for Kanika’s speedy recovery.
