Sonu Sood is a messiah to many in these trying times as COVID 19 cases surge in India. The second wave of coronavirus has undoubtedly crippled our healthcare systems with hospitals running out of ventilators, beds, oxygen cylinders, and medicines. Sonu Sood, who had last year helped many migrant workers amid lockdown, has stepped up to connect needy patients to the right resources. He has already helped many and has been continuing to give any help needed. Sonu Sood recently tested COVID 19 negative and was today spotted at the airport.
Sonu Sood was papped at the airport where he was leaving to shoot for Dance Deewane. At the airport, a man seemed to have asked for his help. While entering, the actor made sure to acknowledge the request and asked him to share details of the patient, so he can provide help. A video of the same has been going viral with people hailing the real ‘hero’. Sonu Sood has been posting a lot of leads and ensuring help like never before. The actor maintains that he is trying to help and give whatever support is needed.
This morning, there were reports that America has decided to send the required help to India to fight the second wave, which is the worst globally. Every day the cases being reported are rising with the death toll on a surge as well. In response to the request by India, POTUS Joe Biden said, “Today, I spoke with Prime Minister @narendramodi and pledged America’s full support to provide emergency assistance and resources in the fight against COVID-19. India was there for us, and we will be there for them.”
