India began its first phase of the vaccine in January using two Covid vaccines-Covishield and India Covaxin.
India is hit by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and the country has clocked over two lakh cases daily in the past few days. At this time of crisis, today’s announcement by the govt brings a ray of hope.
