Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar tested positive for COVID-19 recently. The singer was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after her diagnosis. COVID positive Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Mangeshkar’s niece had shared an update on the singer’s health and revealed that she is stable and recovering. According to a report, the singing legend continues to be in the ICU. The doctors of COVID positive Lata Mangeshkar informed that her health will be monitored in the ICU.

According to a report in Zoom, Lata Mangeshkar’s doctor, who is treating her revealed that they are trying their best to ensure the singer recovers soon. Dr Pratit Samdani revealed the 92-year-old is still in the ICU.

Mangeshkar’s doctor said, “Lata Ji is still in ICU, and we are trying our best to ensure she recovers soon.”

Speaking with the Times of India recently, the singing legend’s sister, singer Asha Bhosale also shared an update on the superstar’s health. Asha Bhosle said, “They aren’t allowing anybody. I went once but wasn’t allowed inside the compound itself. There are severe restrictions and protocols being followed in view of the ongoing pandemic.” She even revealed that she was feeling a bit under the weather. But, Bhosle mentioned that she had a cough and cold but informed that she has not contracted the virus.

Bhosle shared an update on Lata Mangeshkar’s health and said, “But Didi is improving; she is better than before.” Mangeshkar’s younger sister, Usha Mangeshkar had earlier shared that they are not allowed to meet the singer as it is a case of Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, it’s been more than a week since Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She was diagnosed with COVID and pneumonia.
