COVID positive Lata Mangeshkar health update comes as a sigh of relief, her team issues a statement

Singing legend Lata Mangeshkar tested COVID positive recently. She was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after her diagnosis. Since then, her doctors are giving her the best treatment. Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after her COVID positive diagnosis. She continues to remain in the ICU. Her team on Sunday issued a statement sharing an update on Mangeshkar’s health. The statement mentioned that the legendary singer is still in the ICU but is showing positive signs of improvement.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Lata Mangeshkar’s team informed that Lata Didi is still in the ICU. The statement mentioned that her close ones are looking forward and are praying for her speedy recovery. Mangeshkar’s team shared the health update from Dr Pratit Samdani of  Breach Candy Hospital, who is currently treating the singer.

The statement reads: “Heartfelt request for the disturbing speculation to stop. Update from Dr Pratit Samdani, Breach Candy Hospital. Lata Didi is showing positive signs of improvement from earlier and is under treatment in the ICU. We look forward and pray for her speedy healing and homecoming.”

Meanwhile, speaking with the Times of India recently, Mangeshkar’s sister, Asha Bhosle revealed that the hospital is not allowing anyone to visit the singing legend. She shared that she went to the hospital, but wasn’t allowed. Bhosle added, “There are severe restrictions and protocols being followed in view of the ongoing pandemic.” Asha Bhosle shared that she also was feeling a bit under the weather, but mentioned it was just cold and cough. She said she hasn’t contracted the virus. Sharing a health update further, Bhosle said, “But Didi is improving; she is better than before.” Usha Mangeshkar, the younger sister of Lata Mangeshkar had shared how the family is not allowed to meet the singing legend as it is a case of Coronavirus.
