Cuttputlli Trailer: Akshay Kumar is on hunt of a serial killer in this edge-of-the-seat thriller

After the teaser, the makers today unveiled Cuttputlli trailer. The crime thriller stars Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta. Akshay plays the role of a cop, who tries to solve murder cases and on the hunt of a serial killer who is behind these murders. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, it is directed by Bell Bottom fame director Ranjit M Tewari.

The movie is set on the backdrop of Kasauli and it stars with the line, “Once upon a time in Kasauli”. And then we get the glimpse of police finding dead bodies. Akshay Kumar’s voice is heard in the background who says that a serial killer leaves bodies in public spaces. He says, “Police body tak nahi pohochti, woh body police tak pohoch jati hain.” He further says that two murders have been committed and the killer is preparing for the third one. We get glimpses of Rakul and Sargun. Rakul seems to be playing Akshay’s love interest while Sargun Mehta who is making her Bollywood debut with the thriller is playing a cop.

Akshay also says, “Serial killer ke saath power nhi mental game khelna chahiye”. The film seemed to be packed with lots of mysteries and will keep you at the edge of your seat for sure.

Will Akshay be able to find the serial killer? For that you have to wait till September 2.

Disney+Hotstar sharing the trailer on social media wrote, “3 Murders, 1 City, a Cop and a Serial-Killer out on the loose! #CuttputlliOnHotstar drops on 2nd September.”.
