#Daddy: Arun Gawli’s daughter is all praise for Arjun Rampal

After playing a musician in ‘Rock On 2’, and a cop in ‘Kahaani 2’, Arjun Rampal would soon be seen in a gangster avatar in a film called ‘Daddy’. This film is based on the life of Mumbai’s gangster Arun Gawli. The teaser of the film was recently released and it is needless to say that, ‘Daddy’ would be marked as a successful in Arjun’s filmography. Well, Arjun has not only managed to impress us, but even Arun Gawli’s daughters are in awe of the actor.

Arjun recently held a screening of the teaser for the gangster’s family and after the screening, Arun Gawli’s daughters showered Arjun with words of appreciation. Yogita Gawli was quoted saying, “Arjun Sir has dedicated nearly 4 years to this project and no other actor shows such dedication. This is all his hard work. He was so patient and he wanted to know everything about the character and that’s how onscreen, I was actually thinking that wow, he has gotten into the skin of the character, his effort shows in the teaser itself. This teaser has given me goosebumps and brought my dad closer to me. To keep yourself grounded and face challenges is what my Father is all about and the teaser shows just that, ‘The Only One Who Did Not Run’ holds so true for him and I am glad that it is a part of the teaser.”

Geeta Gawli said, “To see Daddy in person and on screen is very different. We cannot wait for the movie and are overwhelmed by the teaser. Arjun and Ashim have shown every aspect of our father’s life in this movie. We have no words to describe what we are going through. Over the last 3 years, Arjun has really understood my father and I really respect that he has kept his feelings in mind and made this movie while staying true to the ups and downs that he has endured in his life.”

Well, Arjun has put in a lot of efforts to get his character right and his efforts have definitely paid off!
