Daisy speaks up about being approached for Salman-starrer ‘Race 3’

There were reports that Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in ‘Race 3’ which has Salman Khan as the male lead. While Jacqueline Fernandez had recently confirmed that she is doing the film, Daisy too has spoken about the film.

The actress told a news agency, “When ‘Jai Ho’ had released Ramesh Taurani (producer) did speak to me about the film but after that there was no talk. The talks happened in 2014 and the makers were working on the script, director was not locked.”

“I have not signed the film on dotted line (yet) but we did have verbal communication. Let’s not comment on whether I am doing the film or not as it is unethical on my part to talk about it. While Daisy didn’t give a proper confirmation, reportedly Jacqueline will only be roped in for the film, if her recent release ‘A Gentleman’ does well at the box office. A source had told Deccan Chronicle, “A lot is at stake in Salman’s forthcoming films. He can’t afford to slip up after ‘Tubelight’, not for his own sake as much as his audience and distributors. Jacqueline is most keen to be in ‘Race 3.’ But Salman will exercise that option only if ‘A Gentleman’ works at the box office.”

Well, Daisy was last seen on the big screen in ‘Hate Story 3’. She is gearing up for the release of her next film ‘Ram Ratan’. It will be interesting to see if Jacqueline and Daisy both will be doing the film or not.
