Confirmed: ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari’s next is titled ‘Chhichhore’

Post the success of ‘Dangal’, everyone was eager to know when the next film of director Nitesh Tiwari will be announced. While the speculations of his next film starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role were rife, the makers of the film have now confirmed that the title of their film is ‘Chhichhore’.

In fact, the film went on floors today. An elated Nitesh Tiwari took to the microblogging site Twitter and posted, “Today is a special day as the shooting of my next film #Chhichhore starts. Thank you #SajidNadiadwala and @foxstarhindi for joining me in this new and exciting journey. @NGEMovies”

Nitesh’s wife, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ fame posted a lovely message wishing her husband good luck for his next film. You can see her post below.

Though there has been no official confirmation regarding who will be starring in this film, recent reports suggest that apparently actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Prateik Babbar and Varun Sharma will be featuring in this film. Reportedly, ‘Chhichhore’ is set in an engineering college and is a coming-of-age film revolving around friendship, heartbreaks, dreams and success.
