‘Dangal’ girl Sanya Malhotra to choreograph for Aamir Khan in ‘Secret Superstar’

Actress Sanya Malhotra, who played the character of real life wrestler Babita Kumari in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster ‘Dangal’, has got an interesting offer, but not as an actress. This time, she will be donning the choreographer’s hat for Aamir Khan in the upcoming flick ‘Secret Superstar’. (Also Read: What! Sanya Malhotra didn’t like her performance in ‘Dangal’?)

Not many are aware of this but Sanya is a trained ballet dancer in real life and we have seen glimpses of her dancing skills in her social media videos. She has got the moves. It was interesting to discover that the ‘Dangal’ girl who played daughter to Aamir Khan in the movie has now choreographed for him in another movie.

Sanya confirmed the same with a leading daily by saying, “The fact that I love to dance and love everything associated with it has never been a secret.When Advait asked me to choreograph a sequence for Aamir sir in ‘Secret Superstar’, I was ecstatic. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined doing something so wonderful.”

‘Secret Superstar’ is a musical drama written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. The movie stars Zaira Wasim in the lead role (the girl who played the younger version of Geeta Phogat in ‘Dangal’). Aamir Khan has an extended cameo in the movie which is slated to release on August 4, 2017.
