Darlings: Alia Bhatt announces teaser release date of ‘thoda dark, thoda comedy’ movie

Alia Bhatt shared a hilarious video and made an official announcement about the teaser release date of her upcoming movie titled Darlings. The actress shared the video on her Instagram and announced the Darlings release date. She shared a nerve-tickling video that features a conversation between her, and her co-stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma. Alia Bhatt shared the Darlings video and mentioned the teaser is set to release tomorrow.

The video shared by Bhatt, starts with Vijay Varma asking, “Itna dark-dark kyun hai idhar darlings? (Why is it so dark here Darlings?)” Reacting to him, Alia says, “Arre, boli toh thi na main, ki dark hai (I told you right, it is dark here).” She asks him, “Ande laye? (Got the eggs)”

As Alia and Shefali Shah crack into laughter, Vijay asks, “Arre dark hai toh faltu ka hass kyun rahe ho dono maa-beti? (If it is dark, why is the mother-daughter duo laughing out loud for no reason?)” Reacting to Vijay, Shefali says, “Kya karein damadji, comedy bhi toh hai. (What to do son-in-law, it is a comedy as well)” Vijay adds, “Bahut suspense badh raha hai abhi. (A lot of suspense is building up)” To which Alia says, “Waits ya, malum padd jayega. (Waits ya, everyone will know).”

Sharing the video, Bhatt wrote, “thoda dark … thoda comedy DARLINGS teaser out TOMORROWS,” as she announced the release date.

After Alia’s post, many reacted to the video in the comments section of the post. Many dropped red heart emojis and showered love. One user commented and said, “Wow.”

On the work front, the actress has been busy shooting for her Hollywood debut movie titled Heart of Stone. She has Darlings, Brahmastra and other movies in her kitty. Darlings, which is co-produced by Bhatt is scheduled to release this year.
