Darlings teaser: Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Verma nail it with their timing

Actor Alia Bhatt has finally released the new Darlings teaser, also headlined by Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. The teaser does not give away many details but it will undoubtedly leave you intrigued as lots of suspense awaits to unfold. Earlier, while announcing the release date of the teaser, Alia mentioned that it is ‘Thoda dark’ and ‘Thoda comedy’. Well, after we saw the trailer, we can totally get the vibes of it.

What we realised from the teaser is that the characters of Alia and Vijay are a couple in the film whereas Shefali plays the mother of Alia. Roshan’s character is not clear but it seems like he is the one who creates a stir that leaves Vijay suspicious. Nevertheless, the one thing that completely impressed us was the mother-daughter conversation with the policemen. Their innocent conversation is quite hysterical.

Fans are quite impressed with the teaser of Darlings. A user wrote, “Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah mam, Vijay Verma, Roshan Mathew…such a stellar cast. We’re surely getting something refreshing!!” While another one mentioned, “Spooky, intriguing, entertaining & funny. Suspenses are making me so excited :)) It’s going to be refreshing to watch all of them together.”

There was another one who loved the suspense build-up in Darlings’ teaser. “This is such a clever teaser so far. They have kept the whole story hidden. Like I have seen this teaser 5 times and still couldn’t understand the main plot. The director is playing with our minds. Can’t wait to watch the movie as this project contains lots of talented actors”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew starrer Darlings will be releasing on Netflix on August 5. Alia and Gauri Khan produce the film. Helmed by Jasmeet K Reen, Darlings is a Red Chillies Entertainment production.
