This years, first big-budget film with A-lister stars recently made it to the box-office. Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Wazir’ recently made it to the theatres. But, unfortunately it failed to get a smashing opening as expected. ‘Wazir’ is a thriler story of a wheel-chair bound chess player played by Amitabh Bachchan who’s daughter has been killed and how a supended ATS officer played by Farhan Akhtar helps him found out his daughter’s murderers. This story filled with twist and turns got mixed reviews from the critics as well as from the audience and probably that is why the film’s performance on the box-office is slow but steady.
On day one ‘Wazir’ bagged approximately 5.57 crores on the Indian box-office. The film saw a little hype in the collection on the following day. Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the collections of the film on the social networking site and said that the film collected approximately 7.16 crores on Day 2. He tweeted,
#Wazir biz jumps on Sat. 28.55% growth from Fri to Sat. Fri 5.57 cr, Sat 7.16 cr. Total: ₹ 12.73 cr. India biz.

Well, the makers might not be that happy with the collections but there are chances that the movie might fair well since there is no big release till January 22, 2016.
