‘Death on the Nile’: Ali Fazal reveals he is not playing an Indian in this Agatha Christie novel adaptation 

Ali Fazal is surely going through the best phase of his professional life. The actor has bagged one of the pivotal roles in the adaptation of Agatha Christie novel ‘Death On The Nile’. Ali will be seen sharing the screen space with the ‘Wonder Woman’ star Gald Gadot in this adaptation.

Naturally, Ali is quite excited about the project. He recently spilled the beans on the kind of role he will be playing in this highly anticipated film.

In a statement, the 32-year-old actor had revealed that he and his mother have always been great fans of Agatha Christie’s novel. Interestingly as per a report in Asian Age, the actor revealed that he is not portraying an Indian character in the film.

“I’m not playing an Indian character. That, for me, is a big victory. To be an Indian actor and not be pigeon-holed!” he said.

The film is scheduled to hit the floors later in this month. Filming will take place in London and some other parts of Europe. While talking about his shoot schedule, the actor told the daily, “I don’t know how these wonderful things are happening to me and my career, but they are. I leave for shooting in a few days. After that, I will be in England for the next 75 days.”
