Deepika Padukone may be one of the topmost heroines of Bollywood in the current times, but she too wasn’t a born actor. In her latest Instagram video she tells about someone from whom she got her acting talent. Any guesses who that lady is from whom the talented Deepika Padukone borrows her acting chops?

Well, it’s none other than Deepika’s mom, Ujjala Padukone. The actress shared an adorable video of how her mom was the one responsible for her brilliant acting skills. She captioned the video as, “Now we know where I get my acting chops from… To my friend,guide,anchor,disciplinarian & role model…Happy Mother’s Day!❤️#UjjalaPadukone @anjubhavnani (apologies @nikhilsosale for exposing you like this!???) Deepika’s video was flooded with comments, and one of the most loved comment was from her hubby dearest – Ranveer Singh. After seeing the video and Deepika’s take on it, Ranveer wrote, “Hahahahahha (sic).”

Yesterday was mother’s day and everyone from B-Town tried to show off their love for their mothers by sharing pictures or videos with them. The numerous memories shared by all the stars was too hard to miss out on.

Talking of Deepika, she is currently busy with the shoot of her next film, ‘Chhapaak’. The actress has been receiving a lot of praise for her brilliant transformation. She looks a spitting image of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal, in the first look of the film. Deepika turns producer with this Meghna Gulzar directorial. The film is slated to hit theatres on January 10 next year. It was clash at the box-office with Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Tanhaji’.
