Deepika Padukone opens up about her baby plans; says, “It wouldn’t be fair to have kids at this point”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been making the country swoon with their adorable PDA and sweet gestures. Since the two have gotten married their fans are looking forward to when they will have a baby. Imagine how adorable their child would be! Recently, Deepika Padukone was asked about when the couple will be having a child to which the actress had a very out-of-the-box reply.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Deepika said that she and Ranveer definitely want to have kids but just not right now. She said, “It’s sad that society puts people in this rut that if you’re dating for so long toh shaadi kab hogi and then bacche. We’re not surprised by the rumours. Of course we want children, we both love kids. But we’re too selfishly focused on our careers at this point. It wouldn’t be fair to have kids at this point. We’re not even thinking about kids.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen in ‘Chhapaak’. In this Meghna Gulzar directorial she will be playing the role of an acid attack survivor. The movie also stars Vikrant Massey. Next, she will be seen playing Ranveer Singh‘s wife in ’83’, which is directed by Kabir Khan and is based on the veteran cricketer Kapil Dev and the 1983 World Cup victory of the Indian cricket team.
