‘Pinga’ from Bajirao Mastani featuring Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra has been facing controversies since the day it came out. While some have complained that the moves shown in the dance are inappropriate and do not resemble any form of classical Marathi dance in any form, some said the representation didn’t abide by historical facts.
However, None from the Bajirao team including the actors made a remark on it so far. But Deepika Padukone, on being asked repeatedly on the same, has finally broken her silence. Though she doesn’t have a personal opinion of her own regarding the issue. “Yes, I read some stories about it today. But I have no idea what it’s all about.”- she said. When asked about her own stand on it, she answered “I think the best person to talk about this would be Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I guess, I would rather let him clear it.”
We hope Bhansali soon comes out to the rescue of his film!
