Deepika Padukone is called ‘Ranisa’ in real life by Shilpa Shetty

Standing true to the title of Rani Padmavati, actress Deepika Padukone continues to be fearless in real life and promotes her movie ‘Padmavati‘ in spite of incessant threats from Shri Rajput Karni Sena. The actress promoted her movie on the kids reality show ‘Super Dancer 2’. And apart from interacting with the little contestants, the actress bonded big time with actress-judge of the show, Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The two divas had a great time and Shilpa was all praises for Deepika.

She addressed her as Ranisa off the sets too, thanks to Deepika’s traditionally beautiful getup. Deepika, in return, complimented Shilpa and thanked her. Too much of mutual admiration happened, but clearly, Shilpa seemed to be in awe of Deepika and even admitted that her husband Raj Kundra is a fan of the actress. Shilpa even spoke about how she believes that ‘Padmavati’ is going to be a wonderful movie and she can’t wait to watch it.

Written and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ also stars Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. The movie is all set to release on Dec 1, 2017.
