Deepika Padukone once again proved that black is her favourite colour. The Diva looked drop dead gorgeous in a sheer black saree with an infinity blouse as she attended an event on Thursday night in Mumbai. The Padmaavat actress happily posed for the paparazzi while she arrived for the event in a hotel.

The actress was the chief guest of an event hosted by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council. It was in collaboration with the World Gold Council.

Celebity paparazzo shared her vifeo on his Instagram account, netizens and fans poured their love for Deepika Padukone in the comments section. One fan called her ‘queen of hearts’, another called her, “beauty in black”. “An absolute stunner”, read another comment.

Deepika Padukone raised the temperatures to new high in a sheer black saree with metallic undertones and lots of sequins. She had tied her hair in a signature bun and kept it subtle with a pair of diamond earrings. But it was her infinity blouse that caught the attention of fans. Deepika Padukone had a one-on-one chat with Gaurav Kapur and also interacted with other delegates at the event as she shared a table with sister Anisha Padukone.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone, will be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in Sidharth Anand’s directorial Pathaan. She also has Sidharth Anand’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor, Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Prabhas, and Amitabh Bachchan. A remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan and a cross-cultural Hollywood film.
