She has not only tied the knot with the man of her dreams Ranveer Singh but has won the best actress award at Zee Cine Awards.

Recently the diva shot for Vogue magazine with 13 other female actors from around the world including Scarlett Johansson, Lea Seydoux, Eiza Gonzalez and others. She became after Priyanka Chopra the second Indian celebrity to answer Vogue’s 73 questions in their hit video series.

The interviewer began the video by asking her about New York, the first place she visits when she is in town and the recommendations she would have for him should he ever travel to Mumbai. Finally, he asked the leggy beauty where she was born and wonders of wonders Deepu was not born in India but in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Yes, Deepika who was brought up in Bangalore but was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was focussed on Badminton as a career during her school days but eventually drifted towards modeling and then acting with time.

On the work front, The actress is currently in Delhi for ‘Chhapaak’. The team will begin shooting for the film from Monday. Deepika Padukone has turned producer with the movie and will be co-producing it with Meghna Gulzar and Fox Star Studios. Vikram Massey is also a part of the film.
