A week back Deepika Padukone’s father, Prakash Padukone had been hospitalized as he had tested positive for Covid-19. Well, looks like the former badminton champion has recovered and he is back home and recuperating. Prakash was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure because he had a fever that wouldn’t subside but according to a report by a leading daily, he has recovered.
According to a report by Times Of India, Deepika’s father was discharged on Saturday. His friend Vimal Kumar, who is the director of his academy U told the portal, “He was out on Saturday. He is at home and doing well. His family is all well too.”

Along with Prakash; daughter Deepika, Anisha and his wife Ujjala had also tested positive for Covid. However, the actress did not share an official statement about her health as of yet. Last month, Deepika and Ranveer were seen at the city airport as they were jetting off to Bengaluru to spend some time with the actress’s family.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen next in Shakun Batra’s untitled next, 83 and the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan.
