Deepika Padukone, the ruling queen of Bollywood, is in a happy space personally and professionally too. The ‘Padmaavat’ star has tied the knot with her beau actor Ranveer Singh and will soon start work on her first project post marriage and that is a film on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Recently, the actress was in London to unveil her wax statue with her husband, inlaws and parents.
Now, she has become the second Bollywood actress after Priyanka Chopra to answer 73 questions in a special video for Vogue US. The video was shot at the Greenwich Hotel in New York, US where she even shot for her first ever Vogue US magazine cover recently.
The interviewer began the video by asking her about New York, the first place she visits when she is in town and she said, “Central Park”. He further asked some recommendations she would have for him should he ever travel to Mumbai. Without batting an eyelid, the diva said, “Walk around South Mumbai, eat a lot and come visit me.”
Deepika, on her part, also opened up on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmaavat’ being the most challenging one for her. She further added that she chose drama over comedy. Her favourite film has always been Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer ‘Mr. India’. She admitted that she loves it.
The actress is currently in Delhi for ‘Chhapaak’. The team will begin shooting for the film from Monday. Deepika Padukone has turned producer with the movie and will be co-producing it with Meghna Gulzar and Fox Star Studios. She is at present prepping for the role that has her playing the role of an acid attack survivor. Vikram Massey is also a part of the film.
