Deepika Padukone finally opens up about rumours of breakup with Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh make for one of the most sought after couples of B-Town and have been giving each one of us major relationship goals with their uber sweet gestures towards each other.

However, soon after the two signed their second period drama, ‘Padmavati’, which also stars Shahid Kapoor, rumours started doing the rounds that the two might have broken up. But it was then learnt that they have not broken up, but are instead only going through a rough patch in their relationship.

Even though the two have always maintained to keep mum about any speculations regarding their love life, here is Deepika, finally opening up about the rumours. Speaking to a leading daily, Deepika said, “I don’t, because there is nothing to ‘take’. I have understood it (the speculations) well enough to know what I should absorb and what I shouldn’t. After a point, one becomes completely immune to these things. You can only do things that are in your control. Certain things are a given when you are in this industry. I am sure there are certain advantages and disadvantages of being in this industry. And this is one of the things one has to deal with, and that’s totally fine. The ups, the positives, and the love we get is way too much for us to get bogged down by the speculations or the negativity.”
