The actress who was in the capital on Sunday was seen speaking about the stigma around depression and mental health issues. She was here to launch her first-ever edition of Live, Love, Laugh – a lecture series with Deepika, which opens up about her battle of dealing with depression in 2015. Present at the event were also her parents (Prakash and Ujjala) and her younger sister, Anisha Padukone.

I think the conversation has opened up (on mental health). I don’t think there’s as much stigma as there used to be four years ago. But we certainly have a long way to go in terms of creating more awareness. I think that’s where we need to keep the conversation alive,” Deepika was seen speaking to the reporters at the event.
