Deepika Padukone : I am so embarrassed and guilty, I don’t have the courage to call Amitabh Bachchan

Deepika Padukone – Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Piku’ has garnered sucess from the audiences as well as critics. Deepika Padukone had even thrown a Success Party for the same. From Ranveer Singh to Alia Bhatt to Shah Rukh Khan, the who’s who of Bollywood were invited for the bash. But what shocked all was the absence of Bollywood Megastar and Deepika Padukone’s onscreen father in ‘Piku’, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

When asked why he wasn’t present at the success bash of “Piku” thrown by Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan candidly revealed that he was never invited. It is only after Amitabh Bachchan came out in the media and said that he wasn’t invited did Deepika Padukone realize that she had made an important error.

She states that a “technical error” was responsible for the confusion and feels guilty for his absence. She also revealed that she does not know how to face the legendary actor now. “It was a major technical error on my part and by the time it came to my notice it was too late and I’ll never forgive myself for it. I am so embarrassed that I have not even had the courage to call him after that. I did eventually text him, couple of days ago but I have still not had the courage to pick up the phone and even explain myself to him. But I will. It was a major technical thing,” she said.

We wonder what kind of technical error could it be, that she forgot to invite he lead co-star?
