Deepika Padukone: I don’t see why my life should change at all after marriage

Aren’t we all excited about Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh wedding that is set to take place on November 14-November 15? Yes, we are. Deepika Padukone, who has taken a sabbatical after the release of ‘Padmaavat’, recently opened up about her wedding (which is without doubt the biggest wedding of the year) in an interview with India Today.

“Of course (I am excited), I think it’s the same way that I am excited about signing my next film. Marriage is definitely something I have looked forward to in my life as would any other girl. When it does happen, it will be exciting, it should be exciting. I don’t see why my life should change at all (after marriage),” she said in the interview to the magazine.

Deepika’s wedding will be held in Lake Como, Italy. This will be followed with a reception in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

She gave the interview alongside her father, ace badminton player, Prakash Padukone. The senior Padukone was asked about wedding preparations, and he said, “Today, the bride and the groom decide everything, both the parents just tag along.”

On the work front, Deepika has reportedly collaborated with ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar for a film on acid attack survivor Lakshmi Agarwal.
