Deepika Padukone mistaken for Priyanka Chopra by a Hollywood news portal

When two reigning actresses are vying for the same spot, comparisons are inevitable. After actress Priyanka Chopra made a mark overseas with her lead role in a popular TV series ‘Quantico’, actress Deepika Padukone is all set to prove herself in Hollywood with the movie ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ which is all set for release on January 14, 2017.

So as a part of the movie promotions, Dippy flew off to Los Angeles and when she landed at the LAX Airport, she was greeted by the paparazzi who couldn’t stop clicking. A few media people even had an interaction with the actress. But, little did she expect that her brief interaction with the media there would lead to an unnecessary mess.

It so happened that a leading Hollywood portal which carried the video of Deepika arriving at the LAX Airport accidentally got her name wrong in the title of the video and addressed her as Priyanka Chopra. If the title wasn’t enough, they even mentioned it as Chopra in the description of the video. It was only when people started commenting saying that it’s not PeeCee, did they realise their huge blunder and immediately rectified the error of name. But, it looks like they were in haste as they only changed the name in the title to Deepika Padukone and the description still showed as Chopra.
