Deepika Padukone no more a part of Salman Khan’s film!

Deepika Padukone has had the golden opportunity to start her filmy career with none other than Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and there is no doubt that her association with SRK has worked wonders for her. But Dippy is now eyeing to bag a project opposite yet another Khan in order to be at the top. She wishes to feature in a film with Salman Khan and this wish of hers seemed to be getting fulfilled as a few reports suggested that Kabir Khan is keen to get her on board for his next, with of course Salman playing the lead. Everything was fine and we were excited to watch Salman and Deepika showing off their acting prowess together, but unfortunately reports now suggest that Dippy has opted out of this project.

Apparently, Deepika wanted a meaty role to feature opposite Salman, but director Kabir Khan is in no mood to make any alterations to the script. Further, the story demands the female lead to portray a character that of a Chinese origin and Dippy does not seem to fit the role. A source quoted to Bollywoodlife.com, “Deepika has realised that she doesn’t have much scope in this film. Her condition was that they increase her role when she comes on board, but Kabir is very strict with his writing and doesn’t plan to do any such thing. Hence the makers will go as planned with a girl of Chinese origin.”

What a disappointment! We were really looking forward to Salman romancing leggy lass Deepika, who is currently the reigning queen of Bollywood.
