Deepika Padukone says it is ‘incredible’ to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are one of the most loved onscreen pairs of Bollywood. They have worked together in films like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Chennai Express. Fans are now beyond excited to see Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika in Pathaan.

Deepika on reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan:

In a video shared by Yash Raj Films on Instagram, Deepika opened up about reuniting onscreen with King Khan in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan. The actress shared her experience of working with him again and said, “Well, it’s always been incredible. I think what I feel for him I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express in words. For me, my relationship with him is it’s a feeling, it’s an emotion and it’s just lots of love and it’s unconditional.”

The actress added, “I think we’ve been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work on some incredible movies starting with Om Shanti Om. I started my career with him. And we’ve had the opportunity to do different kinds of movies together. And to actually see both of us in this space was very exciting for me and I’m sure it was for him as well.”

Deepika went on to add, “For me, as an audience, I was really excited to see him do like this spy-action thriller. But I think what makes it even more special is that I’m in the movie with him. So, to see him in this sort of character that you haven’t seen him very often in this sort of characters so…. And I think it’s the trust, it’s the loving relationship that we have, that actually makes this film and the movie and the chemistry really special.”

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika, Pathaan also stars John Abraham. The upcoming film is slated to release on 25^th January, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
