Deepika Padukone pens an emotional note for ‘ma’ Farah Khan: You had faith in me when no one did

Deepika Padukone is one of the talented and successful stars in Bollywood. Deepika, who was launched by filmmaker Farah Khan in her film Om Shanti Om, has come a long way in her career. Recently, Deepika reacted to a photo Farah shared of the actor’s advertisement for an international luxury brand.

For the uninitiated, Farah is currently on a vacation with her family. She spotted Deepika on a hoarding at a mall in Bangkok. Farah took to her Instagram Stories to share her photo and wrote, “Looking good baby.”

Deepika reshared the post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Thank you ma. You had faith in me when no one else did.” Farah then reshared Deepika’s post and wrote, “You were a star even then. So proud.”

Deepika made her acting debut with Om Shanti Om alongside. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the same. After Om Shanti Om, Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan came together for Farah’s Happy New Year. The actress has been a part of films like Bajirao Mastani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Chhapaak and more. Deepika made her Hollywood debut with XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

The actress has interesting projects in the pipeline. She will be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan. SRK’s first look was revealed in June. The actress had shared the look and captioned it as, “Words can never do justice to the love I feel for him. Presenting Shah Rukh Khan in & as #Pathaan. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 in cinemas on 25^th January, 2023!”

The actress also has Project K with Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Disha Patani. Apart from that, Deepika also has The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan.
