Deepika Padukone pregnant, actress expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh?

If a news report is to be believed, Deepika Padukone is pregnant. Yes, you read it right! Reportedly, Deepika is expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in 2018.

Deepika Padukone is reportedly pregnant

On Tuesday, a report by The Week claimed that Deepika is in her second trimester. Deepika and Ranveer are yet to react to the news.

Earlier there were speculations that Deepika may be pregnant as she reportedly hid her midriff at the 77^th BAFTA Awards red carpet. The actress was one of the presenters at the BAFTA Awards. She wore a shimmery saree by Sabyasachi paired with minimal jewellery.

On the other hand, it was also recently reported that Deepika has opted out of The White Lotus season 3 due to ‘personal reasons’. Earlier during the Fighter promotions, Deepika had hinted that she’s a part of the third season. For the uninitiated, when Deepika was asked about her upcoming projects, Siddharth Anand quipped, “Lotus 3… where’s no space? Lotus 3 is coming?” Deepika then responded saying, “If Siddharth Anand makes Fighter 2…,” and he replied, “Kaise karenge? Abhi Fighter 2 band kara di aapne, Lotus 3 kar kar rahi hain, pata nahi kya kar rahin hai… White Lotus 3.” Deepika then continued to laugh, hinting that the reports might be true.

Earlier this year, Deepika said that she wants to have kids with Ranveer. The actress told Vogue Singapore, “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our family.”

On the work front, Deepika has Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, followed by Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
