Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh left in awe as 83 trailer lights up on Burj Khalifa

The release of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer sports drama, ’83’ is just around the corner. It is slated for theatrical release on 24 December 2021, along with its dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Now, ahead of its release, the trailer of the film was played up on the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The photos and videos of the trailer being played on Burj Khalifa are doing rounds on social media and Ranveer, Deepika was seemingly in awe of it. The couple was also spotted holding hands as they watched the trailer of their upcoming film in pride.

Along with Deepika and Ranveer,  director of the film Kabir Khan, his wife Mini Mathur, and cricket legends Kapil Dev and Mohinder Amarnath were also clicked at the Burj Khalifa.

This comes after Ranveer and Deepika took over the red carpet at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah on Wednesday. The red carpet pictures of the duo were absolutely killer.

In the movie, Ranveer will essay the role of Kapil Dev, while Deepika will play his wife Romi Dev in ’83.’ The plot of the film is based on the story of the 1983 World Cup victory of the Indian cricket team.

Meanwhile, ’83,’ is jointly produced by Khan, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone, and Sajid Nadiadwala, Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, and 83 Film Ltd. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree.
