Deepika Padukone roped in for an Indo-Chinese project, beats Priyanka Chopra?

‘Bang Bang’ director, Siddharth Anand is all set to helm an Indo-Chinese film. While talking to a leading magazine, the director had stated that the movie will star an A-list actress who has already made her presence felt in the West. Well, currently there are Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra who are making a mark in the West, and reportedly, the former has beaten the latter to get the film.

If reports are to be believed, then Deepika Padukone has been roped in for the film which will star Chinese actor Deng Chao. The movie is said to be a love story between an Indian girl and a Chinese man, and has been reportedly titled as ‘Love in Beijing’.

Deepika made her Hollywood debut this year with the film ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’. However, unfortunately the film couldn’t do well at the box office in India as well as overseas. (Also Read: Deepika Padukone went on a Valentine’s Day date, but not with Ranveer Singh!)

On the other hand, PeeCee has already made a mark in the West with the TV series ‘Quantico’, and will soon be making her Hollywood debut with the film ‘Baywatch’. The actress plays the antagonist in the film.
