Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali Khan leave for Mumbai from Goa for drug case investigation after NCB’s summons

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned Deepika Padukone and her manager, Karishma Prakash for questioning in the drug case on September 25. As per a report in ABP News, Deepika is expected to return to Mumbai from Goa later this afternoon. The actress was spotted at the Goa airport a while ago and she has reportedly received permission for a charter plane to Mumbai. Even Sara Ali Khan has left Goa and she is on her way to Mumbai. Her mother Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim were also with her. Sara and Shraddha Kapoor will be interrogated on September 26.

Reports state that Deepika has sought legal advice through video conferencing with a team of lawyers.

Fashion designer Simone Khambatta has left from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in Mumbai. She was grilled by the NCB for four hours.

Rakul Preet Singh’s name has also come up in the drug angle case and she has accepted the summon sent by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning. She will be questioned on September 25. Earlier today, she said in a statement that she had not receive any summon either at her Mumbai or Hyderabad home. She reached Mumbai from Hyderabad on Wednesday night. Later, she acknowledged the summons and updated her latest address.
