Deepika Padukone shares an update on Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan

Deepika Padukone has been busy promoting her upcoming movie Gehraiyaan in full swing. The movie is schedule to release soon and the actress is leaving no stone unturned to promote it. She has made some stunning appearances in the city so far and has managed to win hearts with all of her oh-so-gorgeous looks. While Deepika Padukone is awaiting the release of Gehraiyaan, she has a long line-up of films this year, including the film Pathan. The actress will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the movie and has even kick-started shooting for it. As fans are eagerly waiting for the SRK movie, Deepika Padukone shared an update about Pathan.

Speaking with PTI recently, the Gehraiyaan actress shared an update on the release of Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan and her. She revealed that the movie is almost finished. Deepika continued to share that Pathan might release by the end of this year. The actress revealed that the team is in the process of completing the movie and they have only the last schedule left.

Padukone said, “We are in the process of finishing Pathan now which should hopefully be released by the end of this year. We have the last schedule left.”

Talking about Pathan, the movie is helmed by Siddharth Anand and produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film stars Shah Rukh, Deepika and John Abraham. It even features Salman Khan in a cameo appearance. The movie marks Deepika Padukone’s fourth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. Padukone, who has made her Bollywood film debut with SRK in Om Shanti Om went on to feature in two other movies with him, namely Chennai Express and Happy New Year.

Deepika’s upcoming film Gehraiyaan is scheduled to release on February 4. It even stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa and Ananya Panday.
