Deepika Padukone to start shooting for ‘Padmavati’ from November 5

Sanjay Leela Bansali’s much-talked-about next, ‘Padmavati’ is all set to go on floors, with the lead actress, Deepika Padukone. Deepika will start shooting for the same from November 5^th.

The movie has been in news for its impeccable star-cast including Deepika, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. While Deepika plays the role of Padmavati, Shahid plays Padmavati’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, who was said to be a weak King and lost his kingdom and wife to Sultan Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh in the film.

One also hears that Ranveer and Deepika will not be seen sharing screen in the film and infact, Deepika’s character is the film hates Ranveer’s character. A huge set for the film has been created in Mehboob studios and the director has made sure to reveal not even a single detail about the movie.
