Deepika Padukone makes a stunning revelation about her engagement with Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone has to be one of the most talked about personalities of 2018. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress has had a perfect year on and off the screen. Deepika tied the knot with the love of her life Ranveer Singh in Italy’s Lake Como. The wedding was an intimate affair and was attended by close friends and family.

Now, Deepika Padukone has made a stunning revelation regarding her and Ranveer Singh’s engagement. The ‘Happy New Year’ actress has revealed to an entertainment portal that they had gotten engaged four years ago. This is unbelievable, isn’t it?

Deepika Padukone also revealed that they used to frequent restaurants while they were dating, but their most special moments were at ‘Ram Leela’ director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house. Incidentally, it was during the shooting of ‘Ram Leela’ that DeepVeer fell in love and the rest, as they say, is history. The duo were in a relationship for over six years.

The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actors got married over two days at the picturesque Villa del Balbianello in Italy. Their traditional Konkani-style nuptials on November 14 were followed by an Anand Karaj ceremony on November 15.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ has got released today. Meanwhile, Deepika will be doing a film on acid attack survivour Laxmi Agarwal. The film has been titled as ‘Chhapaak’ and is being directed by Meghna Gulzar.
