Deepika Padukone talks about her plans for Diwali celebrations

So with the festival of lights Diwali almost here, the B-Town stars are ready with their plans to celebrate it with their near and dear ones. Soon to make her Hollywood debut, actress Deepika Padukone has also shared her plans. The actress will be heading to Bengaluru to spend this festival time with her parents and sister.

Talking about it, Deepika has given a statement saying, “Diwali is the festival of lights, joy and happiness and has always been a very special festival for all of us. So I decided to spend quality time with my family before I immerse myself in ‘Padmavati’.”

As many of her fans and moviegoers would know that Deepika would be soon start shooting for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmavati’ in which she plays the titular role along with actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

Deepika’s next release is her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, which also stars actor Vin Diesel in the lead role. It is slated to release on January 20, 2017.
