Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Badlapur’ showed us a different side of Varun Dhawan on the big screen. The the actor had received a lot of praises for his performance in the revenge-drama. The movie was produced by Dinesh Vijan, and now reportedly he is planning a sequel to the film. However, it is said that it won’t star Varun Dhawan. Dinesh has apparently approached Deepika Padukone for ‘Badlapur 2’.
The sequel will have a female as the protagonist and reportedly, Dinesh has pitched the idea to the actress. She has liked it, but the movie is still in its scripting stage, and once it gets over a narration will be given to Deepika. Dinesh has worked with Deepika in movie like ‘Cocktail’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Finding Fanny’. He has also roped in Deepika for a special number in his directorial debut ‘Raabta’.
