OMG! Deepika Padukone trips on her dress while sipping drink at Met Gala – watch video

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is currently going through a purple patch and everything is going according to the plan. The 33-year-old actress married her soul mate Ranveer Singh in the picturesque and magnificent setting of Italy’s Lake Como in 2018. Recently, the ‘Ram Leela’ actress was present at Met Gala 2019 and was looking quite pretty and full of spunk.

Now, a video from the gala, shared online, shows her turning around in a hotel lobby as few people help her with her dress’ train as she almost trips. The diva is also quite nonchalantly sipping wine. However, she regains control and avoids a fall. These things are quite natural and it is a part and parcel of the job.

The theme of MET gala 2019 was based on Notes on Camp, an essay written in 1964 by American author Susan Sontag. Deepika Padukone faced a lot of flak for playing it safe, but the diva was oozing class and panache.
