Deepika Padukone is the ruling Diva of Bollywood and has stood through her battle with mental health and trolls bravely. Recently, the ‘Padmaavat’ star unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London. She was also featured on the cover of Vogue and was part of an inside photoshoot and videos with international stars.
Now, Vogue has released a video clip in which actresses from 14 different nationalities such as Nigeria, India, Mexico, Iceland, US and France, among others, have spoken about what a typical film’s storyline is like in their respective countries. Deepika too spoke about a typical Bollywood film.

Deepika Padukone can be seen describing a Bollywood film. She says, “Boy and girl meet. The minute they look at each other, there’s electricity; they fall in love and all of a sudden, the bad guy enters and he is ready to destroy their future. Part 1.”
Deepika seemed to be having much fun while sharing all about a typical Bollywood love story.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will soon resume work for Meghna Gulzar starrer ‘Chhapaak’. This will be her first film post her marriage to Ranveer Singh. The story of the film is based on an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and is co-produced by Deepika. The film is being directed by Meghna Gulzar whose last film ‘Raazi’ won her critical acclaim. It also stars Vikrant Massey in lead role. Deepika is all set to fly off to Delhi to prep for her role, a week before the film goes on floors.
