Its Deepika Padukone vs Kareena Kapoor for Madhur Bhandarkar’s next

There is a cold war going on between two of Bollywood’s Fashion Diva’s, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Both the actresses are in competition to grab the leading role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film. It seems that after losing Chennai Express, Ram-Leela and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani to Deepika, Kareena is in no mood to lose out another big project to her.

As per sources, its no secret that by giving back to back hits Deepika Padukone is the hot favourite of directors. Deepika is now a threat to actors who are years senior to her. We are talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan here. Now Madhur Bhandarkar is confused about making the choice between the two actresses and hence has spoken to both of them about the film before making a final decision.

The director has previously worked with Kapoor in ‘Heroine’, whereas he has never worked with Padukone, who has given several block-buster films. Both the actresses’ kitties are full of films, yet they are trying hard to grab the role. Deepika’s upcoming movies include Happy New Year, Finding Fanny and Piku. Kareena’s next are Gabbar and Singham 2.
