A few days ago, it was reported that Deepika Padukone was rushed to the hospital, while shooting for her upcoming film Project K in Hyderabad. It was said that she was admitted after facing health issues. The actress had reportedly complained of uneasiness while shooting for the film. The film’s producer has now reacted to rumours of Deepika facing health issues on Project K sets and being rushed to the hospital.

Aswini Dutt, producer of Project K, said that it was not a ‘health-scare’ but just a ‘regular check-up.’ He also added that the actress was not ‘rushed’ to the hospital.

Speaking with Deccan Chronicle, Aswini said, “Earlier she was down with Covid-19, but after recovering she left for Europe. And straightaway from Europe, she landed on our film sets. After mild fluctuations in her BP, she visited the hospital for an hour for a routine check-up just to make sure that everything was normal.

He said, “Deepika ji is a true professional. We wanted her to have some rest but she resumed shooting with Amitabh Sir directly. Her dedication is amazing.

He went on to add that Deepika was enjoying her work on the sets and she even had lunch with the staff members.

Project K is directed by Nag Ashwin and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. Deepika and Prabhas are sharing screen space for the first time and fans of the duo are beyond excited. Apart from Project K, Deepika will also be seen in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. She also has The Intern. If reports are to be believed, she has a cameo in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
