Deepika Padukone’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ trailer to release soon

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra was to release on December 18th. Recently there were rumours of the film being postponed to next year. The reason given for the postponement was that, Bhansali did not want it to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ that too is releasing on December 18th. The makers of the film confirm that the film’s release date has not been postponed.

The makers tweeted,

Sources revealed that, “The film is being shot on a war footing. There are many never-seen-before war scenes, dances and dramatic confrontations. But Sanjay is on schedule. In fact, he didn’t even know about Shah Rukh’s plans or that there was talk of the film being postponed.”

Sources added, “Bhansali is gearing up for a December 18 release and theaters are being blocked accordingly. The trailer will be coming out soon.”
