Deepika Padukone’s character in ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’ Revealed

Bollywood’s Mastani, Deepika Padukone, is now set to conquer the world of Hollywood in her debut film ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.’ Yes, it’s her first time in Hollywood and that now with the biggest stars like Vin Diesel as her co-star. She is training hard for it and soon will star shooting for the film as well. But well before the camera has started rolling, we have got to know some insights over her role in the film.

Deepika Padukone will be playing a pivotal role in the film along with Vin Diesel, Samuel L.Jackson, Jet Li and few more big names. She would be playing a huntress is all that we knew till now. Recent reports have now come up to reveal the name of her character in the film. She would be addressed as ‘Serena’ in the movie. So, the ‘Meena Iyer’ of Chennai Express will now be called ‘Serena’ in the third installment of action film ‘XXX.’  We hope that she does justice to her role.

On the home front, Deepika Padukone does not have any Bollywood film in the pipeline. She was last seen in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ along with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. She played the role of Mastani in the film and the movie was a super hit. Hope her Hollywood debut receives the same kind of response like that of ‘Bajirao Mastani.’
