Deepika Padukone’s ‘go green’ attire invites the wrath of trolls

Every week we come across a celeb getting trolled for a particular statement or for the choice of outfit they make. But, that doesn’t stop our celebs from doing what they truly believe in. Actress Deepika Padukone is one such lady who doesn’t give any heed to the trolls. But sadly, the lady once again got trolled for the outfit she wore at a recent event.

So, the actress was wearing a Monisha Jaisingh creation at the closing ceremony of Jio MAMI Film Festival. She was wearing an emerald green shimmery pantsuit which she accessorised with chandelier earrings from Saint Lauren. The jazzy green pantsuit did make a lot pf noise but for all the wrong reasons. Stylist Shaleena Nathani shared a picture of Deepika in the green attire which met with a lot of criticism. Here are some of the reactions:

For those uninitiated, Deepika has been criticised for her fashion choices earlier too. But, you really can’t do much about these trolls because however hard you may try, trolls cannot be stopped (unless you want to lock your comments section). On the work front, the actress will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
