Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash were interrogated by the NCB in the drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Recently, NCB had raided Karishma’s house in Mumbai where they seized 1.7 grams of hashish and three bottles of Cannabidiol (CBD) oil.

NCB had again issued summons to Karishma however she didn’t respond to any of them. NCB officials even confirmed that Karishma has been untraceable for the last few days. And the latest reports state that Karishma has resigned from her position at KWAN Talent Agency.

Karishma resigned from her position on October 21. Confirming the news, Vijay Subramaniam, co-founder and CEO of KWAN, issued a statement which read as: “Karishma Prakash tendered her resignation on 21st of October with immediate effect and it was accepted. She now has nothing to do with KWAN or with any of the artists that the agency represents including Deepika Padukone. The ongoing investigations are on Karishma Prakash as an individual. We would request media houses and reporters to incorporate this fact while reporting on this issue.

NCB had issued fresh summons to Karishma however they were unable to trace her. Apparently, the agency has now handed over the summons to Karishma’s mother.

The drugs probe intensified after Sushant’s death. So far several A-list actors have been summoned and questioned by the NCB. Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh were some of the actresses who were grilled by the NCB.
